If you are like me, this is the biggest challenge of my day. (and let me note that the title of this blog has changed from in 5 minutes-to in 30 minutes- to less than an hour to an hour). First, I should have a tape recording of myself saying "hurry up" "mommy's in a hurry" "we are late" and just let my children carry it with them. It would save them from having to actually listen to me. And I would possibly save my voice and a little sanity. My life is spent trying desperately to get my family out of my house on time. So here are the steps I have found work
1. Wake up by 8:00 a.m. (even if you are leaving at 11:00- just in case something happens)
2. Feed breakfast (breakfast bars are quick and not messy)-15 minutes- my children tend to talk constantly at this meal- maybe it is the 8 hours of being quiet that builds up to consistent chatter, but I love it!
3. Remind family we are leaving by 9:00- that is in less than an hour-child question, "Is that long?" Answer, "Not real long."- 3 minutes
3. Make coffee - 2 minutes (could save time if set up the night before but I never remember)
4. Nurse baby while checking email- 10 minutes
5. Set out clothes for oldest two- 3 minutes (counting on all clothes being put away, if not and you are digging through dirty laundry baskets- add two minutes)-they can get dressed while showering
6. Shower-5 minutes
7. Get dressed-3 minutes (whatever does not have stains on it)
8. Hair and makeup- 5 minutes (we are on a time schedule here)
9. Get baby dressed- count on blow out so this makes about 8 minutes for total clean up
10. Give 2 minute warning to get out door- GET SHOES ON!
11. Throw diapers in diaper bag and wipes and extra outfit.- 1 minute
12. Grab cup of coffee and a piece of gum (often run out of time for full 2 minute brushing)- 1 minute
13. Out the door
Total time: 58 minutes (60 if clothes are not put away)
To be honest, it is amazing we actually go anywhere ladies. I am ready for a nap just reading through this. And just hope your husband is able to get himself ready!

Love it! I only have two kids, but I my best friend lived in a family with 5 kids!! Talk about crazy mornings! :)
Here's my how-to: http://simplethings1.wordpress.com/2008/07/10/how-to-create-a-silhouette-t-shirt-from-your-childs-photo/
I only have one kid, and an hour is awfully ambitious for me!
